Town of Angelo Board Meeting Minutes for 7-14-2026

The Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Leverich at 7:02 p.m. in the
Angelo Town Hall on July 14th, 2026.

  1. Supervisor Brown moved to approve June 9th, 2026 Board of Review and Board Meeting Minutes. Seconded by Supervisor Geier. 3-0 Motion Carried.
  2. Discussed camping permits and/or ordinances. Allowed to stay 20 days per month on a residential property. Anything above that needs a certificate of occupancy approved by the building inspector and must be up to state code
  3.  Discussion and Possible Action on Ordinance Issues.
  • Tucker – Working with realtor.
  •  Mobile Home Park – Signs are up. Notice has been sent to Devon Haun re: lot 1 & 6 having scrap vehicles sitting there.
  • 15607 Hat – Skirted camper still on property. Will need to follow up once the camper and mobile ordinance is solved.
  • Vian County Trunk AA – Clean up continues.
  • 10214 Hwy 16 – cars and junk. 3rd notice will be sent.
  • 10230 Hwy 16 – scrap, junk, and someone living in camper. Survey being done. On hold till property lines have been determined.
  • 14097 Haven Ave (Leo Heintz) – camper and deck. Need to be reviewed further.

4. Discussion on Disposal Center. Frank is asking if we can put up a speed limit sign.

5.  Road Maintenance

Imperial – David Onstead from the county stated a traffic study would need to be done.

6.  Goodwater Road advisory speed limit – David Onstead from the county stated a traffic study would need to be done. Suggested we try to contact Fed Ex and UPS first.

  1. Clerk and Treasurer Report: Received a letter of engagement from Boardman Clark re: the data center moratorium. Supervisor Brown moved to approve signing the letter of engagement, second by Supervisor Geier.  3-0 Motion Carried.  Septic system was checked and signed off on Monday, July 13.  Reminder, this is evaluation year for taxes.  You may see the assessor walking around.
  2. Resident brought up the property west of the cemetery will have 2 homes built on it. We purchased 2 culverts which will in turn be billed to Simon Yoder. Need to follow up with the highway department to see where the bill is.
  3. Approval of Bill for Payment – Supervisor Brown moved to approve the bills
    before the board. Second by Supervisor Geier.    3-0 Motion Carried.
  4. Supervisor Geier moved to adjourn at 7:49 p.m. Second by Supervisor Brown. 3-0
    Motion Carried.
