Meeting Minutes 9-9-2025

The Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Leverich at 7:00 p.m. in the Angelo
Town Hall on September 9th, 2025.
Supervisor Brown moved to accept the minutes of the August 12th, 2025, meeting as found on
the website.  Second by Supervisor Geier. 3-0 Motion Carried.

The board decided on $15 per hour as a stipend for web work for Janet Evans. Supervisor
Brown made a motion to pay Janet Evan $15 per hour as a stipend for web work. Second by
Supervisor Geier. 3-0 Motion Carried.

Rite Spot had an application for a new bartender operator license. Supervisor Geier made a
motion to approve the application for Logan Degenhardt. Second by Supervisor Brown. 3-0
Motion carried.

Town Hall Maintenance was reviewed. The town is waiting on bids for pressure washing the
town hall. Supervisor Brown made a motion to accept the bid from Choice Security &
Surveillance LLC for a keypad and new locks for the town hall.  Current locks are sticking and many of the doorknobs are in poor repair. Supervisor
Geier seconded. 3-0 Motion Carried.

The clerk/treasure is working to learn the new tax software. It is web-based and requires high
speed internet. Tax payments will need to be made via mail or drop off.

Dog Licensing for 2026 will not be taken by the Town of Angelo due to the fact the new tax
software does not allow payments. A link on the town website and other locations for licensing
dogs will be posted.

Ordinance Issues:
Crocker: Continue to review.
Tucker: Trailer was seen loading out items. Continue to review.
Ian Cleary: Registered letter to be sent as more cars are appearing.
Richards: Progress has been made – Continue to review.
Mobil Home Park – some progress – continue to review
10760 Harmony Ave – Letter to be sent reviewing cars

15607 Hat Ave – Will be reviewed for next meeting
16809 Hawkweed – Letter to be sent regarding cars
11995 Hwy. 21 – Junk van with expired license, letter to be sent
15845 Hwy 16 – Full of junk cars, letter to be sent

Disposal Center: Reviewed 2026 Landfill Rates and reviewed Winter Hours for the disposal
center which start October 15th, 2025 – March 29th, 2026, Wednesday 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM and
Saturdays 9 AM – 4 PM.

Road Maintenance:
1) Review of several roads and culverts. Will continue to review and monitor. Chairman
Leverich will review with the Monroe County Sheriff activities on Goodwater.

Public comments were heard on burnt out streetlights, review of gutters on the town hall, and
bids to get an enclosed case for the town hall postings.
Supervisor Brown moved to approve the bills before the board. Second by Supervisor Geier.
3-0 Motion Carried.
Supervisor Geier moved to adjourn at 7:55 p.m.  Second by Supervisor Brown. 3-0 Motion
Carried.
