Meeting Minutes 8-12-2025
The Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Leverich at 7:00 p.m. in the Angelo
Town Hall on August 12th, 2025.
Supervisor Brown moved to accept the minutes of the July 8th, 2025 meeting as found on the
website. Second by Supervisor Geier, motion carried. 3-0 Motion Carried.
Jack Akers presented the final plat review for Babcock’s Angelo’s Shores. Supervisor Geier
made a motion to approve the final plat and Supervisor Brown seconded. 3-0 Motion Carried.
Final diagram was signed by necessary parties of the town.
Addresses that have been added by Jeremy D. Erickson were reviewed and future additions will
be emailed to board members.
Elizabeth and Peter Jerman reviewed information on their septic tank situation. The Jerman’s
will talk to Jeremy Erickson and review the county lines and report back to the town.
Town Hall Maintenance was discussed. Moe will obtain several bids to determine cost of
pressure washing the town hall building. Rental for the town hall was also discussed and will
continue to be for Town of Angelo residents only.
Janet Evans provided updated information on the Town of Angelo website. Changes are
coming for privacy and security. Email addresses were discussed for town officials. This project
will be ongoing. Stipends for website and email work will be discussed at the next board
meeting.
Ordinance Issues:
Crocker: No action – court eviction notice
Tucker: Situation is better but still needs work.
Ian Cleary: Cars are starting to build up again – Supervisor Brown is sending letter
Richards: Continue to review.
Mobil Home Park – Cindy and Jacki were present from Cindy Gerke & Associates to review the
mobile home park. It was determined that units #13 and #18 need to be reviewed extensively.
Cindy and Jacki have been working to get the lots cleaned up. The town requested that proper
signage be completed to determine lot verification. Jacki is going to work with Jeremy Erickson for signs. Follow up will continue until the units are cleaned up and garbage removed, and
proper signage is displayed.
14078 Co Hwy I (LaBarre – owner has renter):Continue to review
* New* 10760 Harmony Ave (Wilbur R Filter II) (Denise M. Kidd) – This property will be
reviewed and a letter or discussion with the owner/occupants will take place
*New* 15607 Hat Ave (Bradley Williams) – numerous vehicles and items – this property will be
reviewed and a letter or discussion with the owner/occupants will take place
*New* 16809 Hawkweed (Richard Yarrington) – will continue to review
Disposal Center: Please note that the Monroe County Landfill Ridgeville takes electronics during
regular business hours.
Road Maintenance: Chairman Leverich spoke with the road superintendent and projects for the
Town of Angelo roads is still in progress.
Clerk & Treasurer Updates – Training for the new tax software is August 19th , 2025.
Public Comment – The Cross Street light is burnt out. There is also speeding in the Town of
Angelo. Both items need to be addressed.
Supervisor Brown moved to approve the bills before the board. Second by Supervisor Geier.
3-0 Motion Carried.
Supervisor Geier moved to adjourn at 8:18 PM. Second by Supervisor Geier. 3-0 Motion
Carried.
