Meeting Minutes 7-8-2025

 

The Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Leverich at 7:00 p.m. in the Angelo
Town Hall on July 8th , 2025.
Supervisor Brown moved to accept the minutes of the June 10th, 2025 meeting as found on the
website.  Second by Supervisor Geier, motion carried. 3-0 Motion Carried.
Review of park – Supervisor Brown checked on hours and they appear correct on google.
Several items are in progress at the park and future updates will be forthcoming.
Board of Review dates are set – Open Book July 24th, 2025 5-7 p.m. and then Board of Review
will be July 31st, 2025 from 5-7 p.m.

Mobile Home Park Licenses will be reviewed at the August meeting for clarification and then the
licenses can be issued.
Tax software is being updated. Dog Licenses WILL NOT be able to be taken by the town.
Credit card payments will be accepted through the Monroe County Website and an account will
be set up for the Town of Angelo. Training will also happen in August on the software.
Driveway permits and firework permits will be added to the website.
Minutes will now be posted at the town hall and on the website. This complies with regulations.
Ordinance Issues:
Crocker: June 30th the current resident was supposed to take action. Continue to review.
Tucker: Situation is better but still needs work.
Ian Cleary: Continue to review cars are starting to build up again.
Richards: Continue to review.
Mobil Home Park – Continue to review and in person visit next meeting
14078 Co Hwy I (LaBarre – owner has renter): continue to review
Disposal Center: Supervisor Brown made the motion to discontinue accepting wood and scrap
lumber on 9/1/2025. Supervisor Geier seconded. Motion Carried 3-0.

Road Maintenance:
1) Review of Les Penden (Transfer) – Supervisor Brown will review with the Register of
Deeds and the attorney.
2) Class B Ordinance Resolution – Supervisor Brown will be working on this for next
meeting
3) Supervisor Brown will talk with Kevin Schmitz regarding the end of Infield about several
items.
Public Comment – questions were brought up regarding the Babcock property that is being
developed. The developer will be at a future town board meeting. There are also dead trees
leaning on roads from Fort McCoy.
Supervisor Brown moved to approve the bills before the board. Second by Supervisor Geier.
3-0 Motion Carried.
Supervisor Geier moved to adjourn at 7:59 p.m. Second by Supervisor Geier. 3-0 Motion
Carried.
